Senior CCTV Firmware Security & STQC Compliance Lead

About the Role

Bluei is looking for an experienced technical skilled who can take ownership of STQC compliance preparation for our CCTV product range.

Our products include IP cameras, 4G cameras, Wi-Fi cameras and PTZ cameras using Novatek, Realtek and Qualcomm-based platforms.

Currently, our OEM partners supply the firmware. We are looking for someone who can independently assess our existing products, identify the applicable STQC requirements, determine technical gaps, and prepare a complete action plan for compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- STQC Requirement Assessment

Understand applicable STQC CCTV Essential Requirements and certification procedures.

Evaluate our existing products against the applicable requirements.

Identify missing technical features, security controls, documents and testing evidence.

Prepare a product-wise compliance gap assessment and implementation roadmap.

Identify the requirements that must be fulfilled by Bluei and those that require OEM support.

- OEM and Firmware Management

Coordinate with OEMs and chipset suppliers to obtain firmware information, SDK access, technical documents and security support.

Assess firmware security and identify required modifications.

Determine whether existing OEM firmware can meet applicable requirements or needs changes.

Define the technical access, source code, configuration information and testing support required from OEMs.

- CCTV Product Security

Assess firmware integrity, secure boot, firmware updates,



authentication and access control.

Evaluate network security, remote access, encryption and exposed interfaces.

Review device-to-cloud communication and mobile application security.

Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate corrective actions.

- Certification and Testing

Prepare a product-wise STQC compliance checklist.

Coordinate with the relevant testing laboratory and certification authorities.

Prepare or coordinate the required Technical Construction File and supporting evidence.

Manage security testing, technical observations, corrective actions and retesting.

Maintain controlled firmware versions and product configuration records.

- Technical Leadership

Develop a complete implementation plan for Bluei’s IP, 4G, Wi-Fi and PTZ camera portfolio.

Identify any additional software developers, security specialists, testing tools or external consultants required.

Estimate the resources, timelines and OEM dependencies involved.

Provide management with regular progress reports and unresolved technical issues.

Required Skills

Embedded firmware and CCTV product architecture.

C/C++, embedded Linux or relevant embedded operating systems.

CCTV chipset SDKs and OEM firmware integration.

Network protocols, encryption, authentication and cybersecurity.





Firmware vulnerability assessment and security testing.

Cloud-connected IoT product security.

STQC CCTV compliance assessment and technical documentation.

Experience coordinating with OEMs and external testing laboratories.

Experience with Novatek, Realtek, Qualcomm or comparable embedded platforms is desirable.

Expected Deliverables The selected candidate will be expected to deliver:

- Initial gap assessment: What is missing from Bluei’s existing products?
- OEM requirement list: Exactly what information, firmware capabilities, documents and technical support Bluei must obtain from each OEM.
- Compliance roadmap: Product-wise actions, responsibilities, dependencies and estimated timelines.
- Technical implementation plan: Security changes, development work, tools and testing required.
- Certification preparation: Applicable documentation, evidence and coordination with the testing laboratory.
- Ongoing compliance management: Tracking of security gaps, corrective actions, firmware versions and testing results.

Important Selection Criteria

We are not looking for someone who simply knows the theory of STQC or prepares documents.

We need a professional who can independently examine existing CCTV products, understand their technical architecture, identify compliance gaps, and tell management exactly what needs to be done.

The candidate must be able to explain the technical requirements clearly to management and coordinate their implementation with our OEMs.

Candidates must describe their personal involvement in previous CCTV, embedded security or relevant product certification project
