What exactly is the objective of this role? We're looking for a Senior SDET to join MACE. This role suits someone with around 5-7 years of relevant experience.

What will be my Key Responsibilities?

- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Own test planning and execution for the whole SEP platform across DEV, STG and PROD.




- Set up E2E tests of the APIs: authN/authZ (including 3-legged flows with consent), API call via the Apigee proxy and the SEnF resource server response.
- Actively try to break the APIs and platform with malformed, extreme and malicious input, and report every weakness you find.
- Verify that valid calls succeed and that invalid, expired or unauthorized ones are rejected correctly.
- Automate regression and E2E tests and integrate them into CI/CD.
- Use AI tools to generate test cases, test data and edge cases, and to speed up failure analysis.
- Find root causes across components and report defects with clear evidence.
- Own the test strategy for your product area across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Shift quality left by working with developers on testability, code reviews, and acceptance criteria from day one.
- Mentor teammates through reviews, design discussions, and pairing, raising the bar for the whole team.
- Hands-on expertise in E2E and functional API testing

- Hands-on expertise in fuzzing




- Hands-on expertise in and failure and resilience scenarios.

Understanding of modern authentication and authorization
- Hands-on expertise in permissions and client isolation.

Knowledge of how API gateways
- Hands-on expertise in auth servers and cloud-hosted services interact
- Hands-on expertise in with basic troubleshooting in containerized environments.

Performance and load testing. Test automation and CI/CD experience.

AI-assisted testing: using AI to design tests

- Hands-on expertise in generate data and code
- Hands-on expertise in and find coverage gaps
- Hands-on expertise in while validating its output critically.

Explicit test cases and defect reports
- Hands-on expertise in agile ways of working and good communication.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience. Several years of QA experience in API or cloud platform testing. Good English communication skills.

What will be nice to have?
- Familiarity with Telecom or network API experience.
- Experience with contract testing, chaos testing, or security testing.
- Exposure to evaluating ML- and LLM-powered features.
- Mobile test automation at scale across real-device farms.
