SENIOR SALES OFFICER

Biofertilizers | Biostimulants | Biopesticides & Other Agri-Inputs

LOCATION: Bellary (Karnataka)

OUR MISSION

Empowering Farmers | Enhancing Yields | Enriching Lives THE ROLE

Develop and grow sales of UAL’s biofertilizers, biostimulants, biopesticides and other agri-inputs in the Bellary territory by appointing and developing dealers/distributors, generating farmer demand and expanding market presence.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

· B.Sc. (Agriculture) – Essential.

· 3–5 years of hardcore sales experience in agricultural inputs, preferably biofertilizers, biostimulants, biopesticides and related products.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

· Preferably a local candidate from Bellary or adjoining areas.

· Fluent in the local language (Kannada – Essential; Telugu – Preferred).

· Should have a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.

· Good knowledge of local crops, retailers and agri markets.

· Strong relationships with farmers and channel partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Appoint and develop dealers/distributors.

· Achieve sales targets and drive growth.

· Build a strong retailer network and ensure secondary sales.

· Conduct farmer visits,



field demonstrations and trials.

· Identify new market opportunities and expand coverage.

· Provide technical support to dealers and farmers.

· Monitor market trends, competitor activities and report insights.

· Ensure collections and channel inventory management.

CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

· Sales-oriented and self-motivated.

· Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

· Solid communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team.

· Hands-on field-level execution with a focus on results.

· Passion for sustainable agriculture and farmer success.

TERRITORY KNOWLEDGE

Familiar with major crops in Bellary and surrounding areas, such as:

· Paddy

· Groundnut

· Cotton

· Maize

· Jowar

· Pulses

· Horticulture crops
