We are looking for an experienced, performance-driven Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive based in West Bengal with deep industry relationships in the rigid packaging and disposable food container market.

Position Overview

Role Title: Sales Executive / Senior Sales Executive (B2B Rigid Packaging)

Location: Kolkata (covering West Bengal & regional markets)

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience Required: 3 to 6 years in B2B sales of rigid plastic containers, thermoformed packaging, or disposable food packaging.

Target Audience: Wholesale packaging traders/distributors, sweet shop chains, QSRs, cloud kitchens, food processing units, and bakeries.

Key Responsibilities

- Market & Network Expansion: Identify, onboard, and manage wholesale distributors and stockists in major trade hubs across West Bengal (e.g., Kolkata, Howrah, Burrabazar, Siliguri, Durgapur, Asansol). Directly target institutional clients, cloud kitchens, sweet manufacturers, food chains, and catering contractors.

- Volume & Revenue Generation: Drive monthly and quarterly sales targets for PET/PP thermoformed hinged containers and trays. Conduct regular field visits, present product samples, demonstrate locking integrity/clarity,



and negotiate commercial terms.

- Commercial & Receivables Management: Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain clean payment cycles (DSO) within agreed credit terms. Manage purchase orders, coordinate delivery schedules with factory logistics, and handle customer feedback or quality queries.

- Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitor pricing, gauge/micron specifications, and recent product introductions across Eastern India. Provide feedback to the management/technical team for continuous product improvement and mould customisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Industry Experience: Minimum 3–6 years of proven hands-on field sales experience in thermoformed products, PET/PP hinged containers, or rigid plastic disposable packaging.

- Network & Relationships: Mandatory existing contacts with key packaging traders, distributors, and bulk institutional buyers in Kolkata and West Bengal.

- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of container specifications (ml capacities, micron/gauge thicknesses, hinge locking mechanisms, and food-grade packaging standards).

- Communication: Conversant in Bengali, Hindi, and basic English.

- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across West Bengal.
