Mandatory Skills Description

Experience: 8+ years in QA/Quality Engineering with a focus on automation and enterprise-grade delivery.

Web Automation: Advanced Selenium WebDriver skills (preferably Java or Python), solid test design patterns, cross-browser testing, and parallelization.

Mobile Automation: At least 3-4 years' Mobile Automation experience using Appium.

DevOps/CI: Hands-on with GitLab (repositories, branching strategies, merge requests, pipelines, runners, quality gates, test reporting).

Test Management & Integration: Expert in driving QA workflows within Jira, using Xray or Zephyr to design, execute, and track test cases, ensuring seamless traceability between requirements, tests, and defects.

UK Domain:



Demonstrable knowledge of UK products and regulations relevant to the domain (e.g., financial services: FCA/PRA/PSD2/UK GDPR; public sector: assurance, accessibility standards; healthcare: data protection, auditability).

APIs & Data: API testing (REST/GraphQL), Oracle SQL proficiency for test data creation and validation, and setting configuration.

Quality Practices: Risk-based testing, RTM/traceability, defect lifecycle, release readiness, and non-functional awareness (performance, security, accessibility).

Soft Skills: Clear communication, stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and mentoring capability.
