Role Description The Senior Public Relations Executive will manage and enhance Rupa Publications India’s public image and media presence through strategic communication and relationship-building. This full time, on-site role, based in New Delhi, involves drafting and distributing press releases, coordinating author and company interviews, and securing coverage in print, broadcast, and digital outlets. The position includes planning and executing PR campaigns tied to key book launches and literary events, monitoring media mentions, and preparing regular reports on PR performance.

The Senior Public Relations

Executive will collaborate closely with marketing, editorial, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging, support event promotions,



and handle media queries and crisis communication as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills for managing press interactions and building long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess experience in drafting and managing Press Releases and related PR materials for campaigns and announcements.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills for clear, persuasive, and audience-appropriate messaging.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in planning PR strategies, coordinating events, and leveraging digital platforms and social media.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in publishing, media, or entertainment sectors, with a strong understanding of the Indian literary and media landscape.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a professional, inclusive approach to working with diverse stakeholders.
