Job Title: Project Manager / Program Manager – BIW Fixtures

General description:

Project Leadership: Lead BIW design projects from concept through 2D detailing, simulation, and final documentation. Manage Project Planning, Team Project Allocation, Quality reviews within team, design reviews, and supplier interactions.

Execution & Planning: Create and manage project plans, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget tracking to meet deadlines. Coordinate cross-functional teams (design, simulation, Process & System Layout).

Design & Quality: Review and ensure the quality of designs, ensuring they meet OEM specifications for accuracy, repeatability, and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure best practices for the Multiple OEM's Project Execution.

Position details: Full time – Work from Office

Education requirements: BE., B.TECH., ME., M. Tech in Mechanical, Automotive, or relevant field

Knowledge requirements: Understanding of Embedded syatems in Engineering services

Preferred work experience: Substantial experience (often 10–20+ years) in BIW fixture design, automotive welding, and project management. With the last five years in a Project Manager.

OTHER qualifications, certifications, professional memberships, etc: Strong knowledge of BIW Process, welding, and joining methods.

Expertise in CAD tools (CATIA, NX, Inventor,



Solidworks etc.).

Project management and leadership experience.

Understanding of GD&T;, DFMEA, and automotive standards.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent customer engagement and delivery management skills. PMI certification is an added advantage.

Technical competencies: Fixture Design, Quality check of deliverables, NX and CATIA tools knowledge Expert in anyone.
