Role & responsibilities

Environment

- Knowledge of Effluent parameter analysis like COD, BOD, NH3-N, MLSS, TDS, DO etc..

- ETP/MEE/RO/STP Operation & Trouble shooting

- Press filter & Screw filter operation

- Knowledge of monthly/half yearly/yearly returns to GPCB

- Knowledge of Preparation of EHS SOPs

- Hazardous waste management

- Knowledge of Env monitoring as per GPCB requirement

- Knowledge of GPCB XGN portal

Safety

- Work Permit System

- Hazardous chemical handling

- Job safety analysis & HIRA

- Incident investigation techniques

- Construction Work Safety

- Ability to impart Various safety trainings on the job as well as classroom

- Knowledge of critical exothermic reactions and safety precautions

- Knowledge of various loss prevention system

- Knowledge of Safety committee, fire drills, mock drills etc

- Conduct Workplace safety inspections and reporting unsafe act & conditions

Preferred candidate profile

- 5- 7 Years (Chemical/Pharmaceuticals Industries only)

- B.E or M.sc Setting + PDIS Mandatory

- Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 and ESG will be added advantage
