We are looking for a highly motivated, technically strong, and proactive Senior IT Admin to lead and support the organization's internal IT operations while delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure, Microsoft cloud, and security solutions for both internal stakeholders and clients.

This role requires an individual with an ownership mindset who can independently manage

Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, infrastructure operations, identity management, endpoint security, and client implementations. The successful candidate will also provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members, participate in architectural discussions, and drive continuous improvement across the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Internal IT Leadership

Lead day-to-day internal IT operations and ensure high availability of business-critical systems.

Take ownership of IT infrastructure, cloud services, endpoint management, and security operations.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT administrators and support engineers.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT processes, security, and operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain IT standards, policies, SOPs, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with company security policies and industry best practices.

Manage IT assets, licensing, hardware lifecycle, and software inventory.

Coordinate with vendors, partners, and service providers.

Microsoft Azure Administration

Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure environments.

Administer

Azure Virtual Machines

Virtual Networks (VNets)

Network Security Groups (NSGs)

Azure Storage

Azure Backup

Azure Recovery Services

Azure Monitor

Azure App Services

Azure Key Vault

Configure VPN connectivity, networking, routing, and firewall rules.

Monitor Azure performance, utilization, and cost optimization.

Implement Azure security best practices

Manage and support the complete Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including:

Manage Windows Server environments.

Administer Active Directory.

Manage Group Policies (GPOs).

Configure DNS, DHCP, VPN, networking, and storage.

Monitor server performance and infrastructure health.

Manage backups and disaster recovery processes.

Support virtualization platforms where required.

Client Infrastructure & Implementations

Lead technical implementation projects for clients.

Conduct technical discovery sessions.

Participate in solution design and architecture discussions.

Handle Microsoft 365 migrations and tenant-to-tenant migrations.

Support Azure migrations.

Configure hybrid environments.

Work closely with project managers and implementation teams

Client Engagement

Participate confidently in client meetings.

Understand client business requirements.

Provide technical recommendations and solution design.

Conduct technical workshops and demonstrations.

Resolve complex infrastructure issues independently.

Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.

Operations & Service Delivery

Handle L2 and L3 escalations.

Ensure SLA compliance.

Perform root cause analysis

Monitor infrastructure health and alerts.

Coordinate incident response.

Maintain service documentation.

Improve operational processes.

Automation & Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities for automation.

Develop PowerShell scripts where applicable.

Improve operational efficiency through automation.

Standardize deployment and operational procedures.

Contribute to process optimization initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure and Microsoft technologies.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure administration.

Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration.

ITIL Foundation Certification

Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.

Experience with Microsoft Defender suite.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

Familiarity with Azure DevOps or infrastructure automation is an advantage.
