The Opportunity

As we continue to develop our IT Resourcing practice, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Recruitment Delivery Consultant based in Chennai. This is a hands-on recruitment delivery role supporting our clients in Chennai, with a focus on understanding technical requirements, identifying suitable professionals and delivering high-quality shortlists.

You will manage assigned permanent, contract and project-based recruitment requirements from briefing through to successful placement. You will work closely with our team, candidates and client hiring managers, and attend client-site meetings in Chennai from time to time when required.

This is not a 360-degree recruitment or business development role. Client accounts and commercial relationships are managed by the wider business; your focus will be recruitment delivery, candidate quality, effective communication and ownership of the hiring process.

What You'll Be Doing

- Take ownership of assigned recruitment requirements, clarifying the technical brief, priorities, timelines and candidate expectations with the internal team and, where appropriate, client hiring managers.
- Manage the full recruitment delivery lifecycle: search strategy, sourcing, candidate engagement, screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, feedback, offers and placement.
- Use direct sourcing, Boolean searching, headhunting, referrals and talent mapping to reach strong candidates,



including those with niche technical skills.
- Provide constructive feedback on briefs, candidate availability, market conditions and realistic hiring timelines; flag risks and challenges early.
- Build effective working relationships with existing client hiring managers and internal stakeholders; attend occasional client meetings and site visits in Chennai as required.
- Develop and maintain specialist candidate networks and talent pipelines relevant to current and future requirements.
- Conduct structured candidate interviews and assess technical experience, delivery background, communication skills and suitability beyond a keyword or CV match.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate feedback, salary or rate expectations and offers through to successful placement.
- Work closely with our Resourcing, Professional Services and Managed Services teams to ensure reliable delivery.
- Maintain accurate records in the recruitment CRM/ATS, communicate progress clearly and meet agreed delivery and quality objectives.
- Contribute to process improvements and consistent standards across the recruitment delivery function.

What Success Looks Like

Success will be measured by the quality and relevance of submitted shortlists, effective technical screening, candidate and client experience, speed and reliability of delivery, and successful placements. You will be expected to manage multiple requirements, communicate progress proactively, maintain accurate records and build strong candidate pipelines. Business development targets and new-client acquisition are not part of this role.

What You Bring

- Strong experience in IT and technology recruitment delivery,



ideally in a senior recruiter or senior delivery consultant position.
- Experience sourcing and placing technology professionals in Chennai or the wider Indian market, with an understanding of local candidate availability and hiring practices.
- Demonstrable success delivering complex or niche technical recruitment assignments and producing well-qualified shortlists.
- Confidence engaging with hiring managers to clarify requirements, discuss candidates and coordinate recruitment processes for existing clients.
- Experience recruiting permanent, contract or project-based technology professionals.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and candidate interviewing skills.
- Sound judgement on salary expectations, candidate motivation, notice periods and offer management.
- A consultative and delivery-led approach, focused on the quality and suitability of candidates.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, candidate care and confidentiality.
- A genuine interest in technology and the ability to learn and discuss technical requirements credibly.
- Strong direct sourcing capability, including Boolean search, LinkedIn and other relevant recruitment channels.
- Experience using recruitment CRM/ATS platforms; Bullhorn experience is an advantage.
