About the Role

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with strong expertise in finance, accounting, taxation, financial planning and analysis (FP&A;), and management reporting. The ideal candidate should have proven leadership capabilities, sound financial judgment, and the ability to independently manage the finance function, lead a team, and present financial performance and insights to the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

1. Finance, Accounting & Taxation

- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial transactions, and maintenance of accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Manage direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, income tax, and related filings.
- Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;)

- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and identify variances.
- Analyse revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and key financial indicators.
- Provide actionable financial insights to support business planning and strategic decision-making.

3. Management Reporting & Board Presentations

- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Develop financial dashboards, MIS reports, and performance analysis.
- Present financial results, business performance, risks,



and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
- Translate complex financial information into clear, business-oriented insights.

4. Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a finance team of 3–4 members.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Establish effective financial processes, internal controls, and reporting practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial discipline and operational efficiency.

5. Independent Decision-Making & Business Support

- Take ownership of financial operations and make independent, informed decisions within the approved authority framework.
- Identify financial risks, cost optimisation opportunities, and process improvements.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to management and business stakeholders.
- Work proactively with leadership, offering recommendations rather than relying on CXOs for routine financial decisions.

Mandatory Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with approximately 4–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.




- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Proven experience managing and leading a team of 3–4 members.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial decision-making skills.
- Ability to prepare and present financial statements and business performance reports to the Board.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Good to Have

- Experience with Zoho Books, Zoho Finance applications, or other accounting and ERP tools.
- Proficiency in AI tools for financial analysis, reporting, automation, and productivity enhancement.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience in developing automated financial reports, dashboards, and data-driven presentations.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on finance professional who combines solid technical accounting and taxation expertise with FP&A; capabilities, team leadership, and the confidence to independently manage financial operations and communicate financial insights to the Board. Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
