- Operate and monitor extrusion and pelletizing equipment, set up lines, control process parameters, ensure quality, troubleshoot issues, and maintain production records

Purpose of the Role The Senior Extruder Operator is responsible for the protected and efficient operation of extrusion equipment to produce high-quality compounded materials in accordance with production schedules and quality standards. The role ensures optimal machine performance, product quality, process control, safety compliance, and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor extrusion and pelletizing equipment according to established SOPs.

- Set up extrusion lines, including machine parameters, feeders, dies, screens, and downstream equipment.





- Monitor and control process parameters such as temperature, pressure, screw speed, feed rates, and output.

- Ensure products meet quality specifications through regular inspections and sampling.

- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and production losses.

- Perform startup, shutdown, grade changeovers, and cleaning activities as per procedures.

- Maintain accurate production records, process logs, and shift reports.

Education:

- Diploma in Plastics Technology / Polymer Technology from CIPET.

- B.E./B.Tech in:

- Polymer Technology

- Plastic Technology

Experience:

- 6 to 9 years of experience in extrusion operations, polymer compounding, engineering plastics, or plastics processing.
