Role & responsibilities
- Manage and supervise preventive, breakdown, and electrical maintenance activities for foundry equipment, machinery, and utility systems to ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, identify abnormalities, and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Drive breakdown reduction by implementing CAPA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and implement repair and maintenance (R&M;) and power cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure identification, analysis, and closure of unsafe conditions, maintaining electrical safety standards and statutory compliance.
- Implement productivity and safety Kaizens, targeting two improvements per month, to enhance operational efficiency, workplace safety, and equipment performance.
