Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance, Projects, Documentation & Audits

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Project Management:

- Execute plant expansion, modification, and improvement projects.
- Coordinate installation, commissioning, and validation of current equipment.
- Prepare project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are completed within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Support energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain maintenance records, machine history cards, and project documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance MIS reports.
- Update SOPs, maintenance schedules, checklists, and work instructions.
- Monitor and report KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, machine uptime, and maintenance costs.
- Maintain statutory and compliance-related engineering records.

Audit & Compliance





- Ensure audit readiness for Internal, ISO, Customer, and Regulatory audits.
- Maintain all maintenance and project-related audit documents.
- Participate in audits and provide required records and evidence.
- Track audit observations and ensure timely closure of CAPA actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, TPM, and safety requirements.

Maintenance

- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure optimum performance and reliability of production machinery and utilities.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor machine health and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage maintenance spares and consumables.
