About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing machinery. Experience in polymer compounding, plastic processing, extrusion, or masterbatch manufacturing is must.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of industrial electrical systems, extrusion lines, and auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in twin-screw extruders, kneaders, mixers, moulding machines, gravimetric feeders, and material-handling systems.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electric motors, control panels, MCC panels, PCC panels, distribution boards, contactors, relays, MCBs, MCCBs, circuit breakers, and electrical wiring.
- Diagnose faults in VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), AC drives, servo drives, PLCs, sensors, encoders, and industrial automation systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, motor starters, overload protection, interlocks, limit switches, and machine safety circuits.
- Maintain and inspect heaters, thermocouples, temperature controllers, cooling systems, and electrical components used in extrusion and polymer processing machinery.
- Coordinate with Production for machine readiness, planned maintenance, breakdown resolution, and shift-wise maintenance requirements.
- Support electrical maintenance of plant utilities, including air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, DG sets, and electrical distribution systems, as applicable.
- Assist in new machine installation, electrical connections, commissioning, panel modifications, and equipment improvement projects.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance, breakdowns, electrical faults, spare-parts consumption,



and machine history; submit timely reports to the Maintenance In-charge.
- Ensure availability of critical electrical spares, cables, fuses, sensors, relays, contactors, and other maintenance consumables in coordination with Stores and Purchase.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE requirements, 5S, and protected isolation practices while performing maintenance activities.
- Identify recurring electrical failures, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve machine reliability.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies
- Hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance, machine troubleshooting, and breakdown maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical circuits, control panels, power distribution, motors, starters, and protection systems.
- Practical exposure to VFDs, PLCs, sensors, temperature controllers, and automation systems will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams, panel drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical testing instruments, preventive maintenance schedules, and breakdown reporting.
- Experience with twin-screw extruders, plastic extrusion lines, polymer compounding machinery, or masterbatch manufacturing equipment will be strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently, respond to machine breakdowns, and coordinate effectively with Production and Maintenance teams.

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: ITI Electrician / Diploma in Electrical Engineering / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Experience with European and Indian make extrusion machinery will be an added advantage.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
