About the Role

Synergy Technologies is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong SQL, Python, Snowflake, and cloud data engineering skills. The candidate will lead the development of scalable data pipelines, enterprise data transformation solutions, and AI-ready data workflows using AWS services.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and experience delivering reliable data engineering solutions while collaborating with backend developers and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing workflows.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
- Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and integration.
- Design and implement data solutions using Snowflake, including data loading, transformation, and performance optimization.
- Integrate data from relational databases, REST APIs, CSV, JSON, and other enterprise sources.
- Implement data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and data quality processes.
- Work with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue to support cloud-based data solutions.




- Prepare structured and unstructured data for Generative AI applications, knowledge assistants, and RAG workflows.
- Collaborate with Go/backend developers, architects, and technical leads to integrate data pipelines with application APIs.
- Lead technical problem-solving, code reviews, performance tuning, and best practices.
- Support POCs, testing, documentation, and client demonstrations.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in SQL and Python programming.
- Extensive experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data quality.
- Experience with relational databases, data integration, and pipeline troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Git, debugging, performance optimization, and software development practices.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and IAM.
- Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or other data orchestration tools.
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON data integration.
- Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI-powered analytics.
- Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock or Amazon Nova is an advantage, but not mandatory.
