Job Title: Senior- CAD / BIM Designer Electrical

Location: Hyderabad work mode: work from office

Job Summary:

- Responsible for creating and modifying electrical Building Information Models in Revit that will be used to coordinate and install electrical equipment.
- Perform tasks independently, take responsibility for own work produced to a high standard and ensure outputs meet the required standards and meet agreed deadlines
- Minimum 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in Industrial Complexes project, worked in Design / Consultancy Organisations

Responsibilities:

- The BIM Designer shall possess the following skill sets
- Use Revit MEP and AutoCAD MEP for electrical system design.
- Possess thorough knowledge to Model electrical equipment / systems such as Panels, Transformer, Generators, VFDs, Bus duct, Light fixtures ,Power sockets, Cable tray, conduit in 3D for accurate representation in MEP co-ordination models.
- Assist in MEP coordination process, and produce field installation drawings.
- Create Parametric Revit Families and Family creation up to LOD 400 level.
- Knowledge in sheet creation and Quantity takeoff from Revit
- Creation of Revit families
- Knowledge in Navis works to create clash report
- Prepare MEP 3D Revit coordinated models
- Clash detection and clash resolution
- Create template as per project specifications/client requirement
- Support design teams and bid teams with the creation of 3D visualizations
- Miscellaneous CAD/Revit Drafting
- Create as-built and Record drawings
- Archiving of record drawings
- Inter-discipline Coordination
- Good verbal and written communication.




- Ensure that Company standards and procedures are followed including Department QA/QC Procedures
- Produce 2D CAD drawings and / or 3D models
- Create non-editable electronic renditions of drawings
- Guide and mentor other CAD/BIM Designers, CAD Designers on technical aspects
- Ensure that Company standards and procedures are followed including Department QA/QC Procedures
- Provide support to or work with Other Disciplines as instructed

- Working knowledge in lighting software such as Dialux
- Drawing Extraction
- Space Management Coordination and resolution of clashes independently
- REVIT families creation
- Navisworks Manage & Simulate
- AutoCAD Design review
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of other discipline systems and services
- Knowledge of Cable Sizing, Cable Tray Sizing, Lighting Design, Cable schedule preparation
- Other 3D tools knowledge is added advantage
- The ability to understand engineering mark-up drawings and familiarity with discipline symbols
- Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiative showing good organisational skills.
