Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in C# and backend software development to join a global technology team supporting financial platforms and applications.

The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing high-performance backend services, APIs, libraries, and frameworks. The candidate will collaborate with global teams, business stakeholders, and technology professionals to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions.

Experience with cloud-based development, application containerization, and Azure services is desirable. Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and React will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Backend Development

- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications, services, and APIs using C#.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
- Develop and maintain reusable libraries and frameworks.
- Optimize application performance, data integrity, and system reliability.

2. System Integration

- Integrate financial platforms, internal systems, and third-party services.
- Work with technologies such as RabbitMQ, gRPC, GraphQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL Server.
- Ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability between applications.

3. Cloud & Application Modernization

- Contribute to application containerization and cloud-based development.
- Work with Microsoft Azure services and cloud technologies.
- Support application modernization and deployment initiatives.

4. Code Quality & Testing

- Follow coding standards and software development best practices.




- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.
- Support CI/CD processes and maintain high standards of code quality.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work with global development teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and Program Increment (PI) planning.
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

6. Production Support & Risk Management

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development and production environments.
- Provide post-implementation support and ensure application stability.
- Follow information security, risk management, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.

7. Frontend Development – Desirable

- Collaborate on frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Support the development of responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall software development experience, including at least 5 years in backend development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in C# and backend application development.
- Good knowledge of MongoDB and Microsoft SQL Server.




- Experience with RabbitMQ, gRPC, and GraphQL.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, API development, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and software development best practices.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have
- Experience in banking, financial services, capital markets, or trading platforms.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of ReactJS and modern frontend development frameworks.
- Familiarity with Webpack, NPM, and frontend build tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud application services, and application containerization.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.

Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
