About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst - Cost Management to join the Finance department at IDFC First Bank.

The Cost Management

Team is dedicated to driving cost optimization initiatives and collaborating with various teams for end-to-end implementation. The role involves suggesting measures to improve process efficiencies and focusing on reducing the cost-to-income ratio. The ideal candidate will oversee the work of cost analysts and manage category-level analysis to identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

- Review and manage monthly trending reports, ensuring accuracy and relevance for decision-making.
- Identify, recommend, and implement cost optimization opportunities to enhance financial performance and efficiency.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, tracking, and reporting of expense categories, maintaining financial compliance.
- Collaborate with department heads to align cost optimization efforts with overall business objectives.





Secondary Responsibilities
- Engage with various departments to understand systems and processes, including site visits to assess ground-level operations.
- Collect and analyze comprehensive data through stakeholder engagement.
- Review end-to-end business processes with business and support teams, suggesting measures to improve efficiencies.
- Conduct granular level analysis of expense categories and explore potential cost optimization initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

Education

- Graduation: B.Com
- Post-graduation: MBA.
- Professional Qualification/Certification: CA / CFA.

Experience

- 7+ years of relevant experience.
