Title: Senior AI Solution Architect (Data & GenAI) – Long-Term Contract

About the role

ExtraMint AI is hiring a Senior AI Solution Architect for a long-term, 100% remote engagement with a global industrial/energy enterprise client. You will design the data and AI solution architecture for its AI programs, working with data scientists and engineers to move solutions from POC to MVP-ready artifacts.

What you’ll do

- Define solution and data architecture for AI prototypes and MVPs
- Design scalable, secure patterns on Azure AI Foundry and Databricks
- Partner with data scientists on retrieval, data pipelines and integration design
- Make sure solutions are packaged and documented for handoff and operationalization




- Mentor and upskill junior data architects
- Explain design decisions to technical and business stakeholders

What you bring

- Senior architecture experience in data and AI/ML solutions
- Experience architecting GenAI/RAG solutions
- Working knowledge of data governance, security and integration patterns
- A record of taking AI solutions from prototype to production
- Strong communication, collaboration and business sense
- Positive to have: Azure AI Foundry, Azure data services, Databricks, multi-cloud (Azure and AWS), enterprise-scale or industrial transformation, working under a principal architect.
