Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Panchkula, responsible for guiding prospective learners through the admissions process and supporting enrollment targets. The role includes engaging with inquiries via calls, emails, and in-person meetings, explaining IPB’s programs, training structure, and placement support, and helping applicants choose suitable courses. The counselor will conduct counseling sessions, participate in information seminars and outreach activities, and maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM or other systems.





Daily tasks also involve coordinating with academic and operations teams, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for admitted learners, and providing ongoing support to address questions and concerns.

The Senior Admissions

Counselor is expected to contribute to continuous improvement of counseling processes and share feedback from prospective learners to enhance IPB’s offerings.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal communication and general communication skills to counsel prospective learners effectively and build trust.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to manage inquiries, address concerns professionally, and maintain a learner-centric approach.
- Candidates should possess sales skills to convert qualified leads into enrollments, meet admission targets, and support outreach initiatives.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of education or training services, preferably within professional or vocational programs.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in any discipline; degrees in business, education, or social sciences are an advantage.
- Prior experience in admissions, counseling, educational sales, or similar client-facing roles is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work with CRM tools, maintain organized records, and analyze admission data for reporting.
