What exactly is the objective of this role? We're looking for a SDET - II to join FinTech.



This role suits someone with around 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.

What will be my Key Responsibilities?

- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
- Own the test strategy for your product area across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Shift quality left by working with developers on testability, code reviews, and acceptance criteria from day one.
- Triage defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive fixes to closure while tracking quality metrics over time.
- Validate APIs and web and mobile experiences across devices, OS versions, and network conditions.
- Contribute to release-readiness decisions with clear, data-backed quality reports.
- Use AI-assisted tooling to generate, maintain, and self-heal tests and widen coverage faster.
- Hands-on expertise in Appium, Charles Proxy, Java
- Hands-on expertise in test automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium)
- Hands-on expertise in API testing (Postman, REST Assured)
- Hands-on expertise in CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Hands-on expertise in performance testing (JMeter, k6, or Gatling)
- Hands-on expertise in test strategy, test design, and defect management

What will be nice to have?
- Experience with contract testing, chaos testing, or security testing.
- Exposure to evaluating ML- and LLM-powered features.
- Mobile test automation at scale across real-device farms.
