Senior SAP PP/QM/PM Consultant – Solution Architect

Job Summary

- Seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP PP/QM/PM Consultant – Solution Architect with 20–25 years of overall SAP experience.

- Solid expertise across SAP Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM).

- Extensive experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA implementations, global rollouts, upgrades, business process transformation, integration, solution architecture, and production support.

- Proven ability to work with senior business stakeholders, enterprise architects, functional teams, technical teams, and global delivery teams.

- Strong leadership skills with experience managing complex SAP programs and mentoring senior consultants.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PP – Production Planning

- Lead end-to-end SAP PP implementations, global rollouts, upgrades, and S/4HANA transformation projects.

- Design, configure, and optimize production planning processes, including:
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

- Master Production Scheduling (MPS)

- Demand Planning

- Production Planning and Scheduling

- Production Orders and Process Orders

- Capacity Planning

- Shop Floor Control and Production Execution

- Confirmations and Goods Movements

- Provide strong expertise in BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, and Production Master Data.

- Configure and support MRP, MRP Live, MPS, Capacity Requirements Planning (CRP), and Production Scheduling.

- Support different manufacturing scenarios, including:

- Make-to-Stock (MTS)

- Make-to-Order (MTO)

- Repetitive Manufacturing

- Process Manufacturing

- Discrete Manufacturing

- Design and manage integration between PP, MM, SD, QM, PM, WM/EWM, FI/CO, and other SAP modules.

- Lead production planning process redesign, optimization, and SAP standardization initiatives.

- Support production execution, shop-floor integration, and manufacturing-related interfaces.

SAP QM – Quality Management

- Lead SAP QM solution design, implementation, rollout, and transformation initiatives across the complete quality lifecycle.

- Design and configure processes covering:
- Quality Planning

- Quality Inspection

- Inspection Lots

- Results Recording

- Usage Decisions

- Quality Notifications

- Defect Management

- Quality Certificates

- Quality Reporting

- Configure Inspection Types, Inspection Plans, Master Inspection Characteristics, Sampling Procedures, and Quality Catalogs.

- Design incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes.

- Integrate QM processes with MM, PP, SD, PM, and other SAP modules.

- Configure and support Quality Notifications, defect recording, corrective actions, and quality reporting.

- Provide expertise in SAP S/4HANA Quality Management and its integration with manufacturing processes.

- Drive global quality process standardization across plants, countries, and business units.

SAP PM – Plant Maintenance / Asset Management





- Lead end-to-end SAP PM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.

- Lead and support ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations, implementations, system conversions, and transformation programs.

- Strong understanding of relevant S/4HANA simplification items and functional changes.

and stakeholder discussions.

- Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend SAP-standard solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 20–25 years of overall SAP experience.

- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP PP, QM, and PM.

- Strong experience with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

- Multiple successful full-cycle SAP implementations and global rollouts.

- Strong manufacturing, production planning, quality management, and asset-management domain knowledge.

- Excellent understanding of cross-module SAP integration.

- Proven experience working with senior business stakeholders and global teams.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

- Ability to lead large teams and manage complex global SAP programs.

- Strong experience in solution design, process transformation, and SAP standardization.

Preferred Skills

- SAP S/4HANA certification in PP, QM, and/or PM.

- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.

- Knowledge of SAP BTP and Integration Suite.
