Location: Gurugram The SAP Datasphere & SAC Consultant is a hands-on consultant who owns both the data layer (SAP Datasphere) and the presentation layer (SAP Analytics Cloud) to deliver enterprise analytics and reporting solutions. This role combines data modeling, connectivity, and governance in Datasphere with story development, security and administration in SAC. The consultant partners directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, well-designed analytics solutions.

The SAP Datasphere & SAC Consultant is a hands-on consultant who owns both the data layer (SAP Datasphere) and the presentation layer (SAP Analytics Cloud) to deliver enterprise analytics and reporting solutions. This role combines data modeling, connectivity, and governance in Datasphere with story development, security and administration in SAC. The consultant partners directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, well-designed analytics solutions.

Core Responsibilities

- Data Extraction & Integration: Implement data extraction, replication and virtualization from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
- Data Modeling: Create and maintain Graphical Views, SQL Views and Data Models, including layer-based data warehouse models and star schema design.
- Connectivity & Configuration: Establish and manage source system connectivity; configure and troubleshoot the Data Provisioning Agent (DPA) and SAP Cloud Connector.
- Data Governance & Security: Implement and manage Data Access Controls (DAC)



and data governance practices across the landscape.
- SQL Development: Develop SQL scripts and SQL Procedures for data transformation and business logic.
- Data Quality: Investigate and resolve data quality and data mismatch issues across the landscape.
- Landscape Management: Perform content transport through Content Network, import/export and deployment management.
- SAC Story Development: Design, develop and enhance SAC Stories based on business requirements, including interactive visualizations, KPIs and analytical reports.
- SAC Administration: Manage SAC security roles, teams and user authorizations; support performance optimization and troubleshooting of SAC reports and stories.
- SAC Landscape Management: Perform content transport and landscape management using Content Network.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business users to gather, analyze and document requirements; conduct workshops, demonstrations and user training sessions.
- Solution Design: Translate business requirements into technical solution designs, recommending SAP and industry best practices for analytics and data management.
- Project Support: Assess risks, dependencies and impacts of proposed solutions; support project planning,



effort estimation, testing, deployment and user adoption activities.

Required Skills and Experience

- 5+ years of relevant experience, with hands-on SAP Datasphere configuration, administration and data modeling.
- Experience with data extraction, replication and virtualization from SAP and non-SAP source systems.
- Proficiency in Graphical Views, SQL Views and Data Models, including star schema and layer-based data warehouse design.
- Hands-on experience with Data Provisioning Agent (DPA) and SAP Cloud Connector configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience implementing Data Access Controls (DAC) and data governance practices.
- Solid SQL scripting and SQL Procedure development skills.
- Experience investigating and resolving data quality and data mismatch issues.
- Hands-on experience with Content Network, import/export and deployment management.
- Hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) story development, administration and security management.
- Ability to build interactive visualizations, KPIs and analytical reports in SAC.
- Experience managing SAC security roles, teams and user authorizations.
- Strong business communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience running requirement workshops, demonstrations and training sessions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solution designs and recommend best practices.
- Experience with risk and dependency assessment, effort estimation, testing, deployment and user adoption support.
