We are seeking a SAP EDI Senior Software Engineer / Lead to join our Information Technology team at Fossil Group in Bengaluru, Karnataka. What you will do in this role

- Design, develop, and support EDI/API integrations across SAP ECC (including AFS) and S/4HANA environments
- Configure and manage EDI processes including partner onboarding, mapping, job scheduling, and error resolution
- Lead migration initiatives from traditional EDI platforms to SAP BTP (CPI) and modern integration frameworks
- Develop and maintain EDI mappings using ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML formats, and associated tools
- Manage IDoc processing including creation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and reprocessing within SAP
- Implement and support communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and REST/HTTPS APIs
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and vendor teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions




- Ensure solution quality, technical integrity, and adherence to IT standards through testing, documentation, and governance

Who You Are

- 4-10 years of experience in EDI/API integrations within SAP environments
- Robust expertise in EDI standards including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and XML
- Hands-on experience with SAP IDocs, partner profiles (WE20), output types, and EDI tables
- Experience with mapping tools including map creation, modification, troubleshooting, and partner onboarding
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, and REST/API integrations
- Familiarity with SAP BTP (CPI), OpenText (TLE), or similar integration platforms is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in global, cross-functional environments
