Role Description The Restaurant Safety & Maintenance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of all restaurant facilities and equipment, including conducting regular inspections of kitchen, electrical, and dining area systems. The Officer will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and ensure that repairs are completed promptly to minimize disruption to operations.

Daily tasks include maintaining maintenance logs, monitoring compliance with safety standards, supporting fire and emergency preparedness,



and working closely with restaurant management to address safety concerns. The role also involves vendor coordination for specialized repairs, training staff on basic safety protocols, and recommending improvements to enhance overall facility reliability and guest safety.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Equipment Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair, and Corrective Maintenance skills for restaurant and kitchen environments.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Electricity and safe handling of electrical systems relevant to commercial restaurant operations.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to coordinate with management, staff, and external service providers.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in facility or restaurant maintenance, with familiarity in safety regulations, hygiene standards, and emergency procedures.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to keep accurate records, follow checklists, and work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- A relevant technical diploma or certification in maintenance, electrical work, or facility management is preferred; previous experience in hospitality or food service settings is an advantage.
