Reporting Manager: Business Development Manager Role

Summary:

Purpose: The primary objective of the FLS at Shriram Life

Insurance Company is to drive business growth through frontline sales activities. This is a Feet-on-Street (FOS) role, operating under our strategic partnership with RRB/SFB Banks. We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented skilled who will work closely with partner branch teams to effectively convert in-branch leads into successful insurance sales.

Role Requirements:

Education: Any Bachelor degree or Post graduate

Experience Range

- Must be fluent in the local language of the base location.
- Must have 0-3 years experience in insurance domain rural and semi-urban areas.
- Banking services and credit solutions, including micro-loans, retail loans, and MSME loans.

Professional Experience/ Skills:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




- Must be willing to work in field sales and travel within assigned areas.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kochi and surrounding regions.
- Target-driven and self-motivated.
- Must possess a two-wheeler.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work from assigned Bank branches and handle walk-in customers/leads.
- Follow up on bank-provided leads to convert them into business.
- Drive product awareness, pitch offerings, and close sales on-ground.
- Maintain strong relationships with branch staff and ensure seamless lead coordination.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and documentation.
