We are looking for a Recovery Head. This is a full time position based at Gurugram, Haryana (Corporate Office) with regional travel requirements. The incumbent will lead a team of Recovery Officers / Field Executives and will be responsible for managing overdue recovery, collection efficiency, DSO & ageing control, bad debt management, legal compliance, and dealer/distributor credit management.

The ideal candidate should be a Graduate / Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration (MBA preferred) with 20 years of experience in Collections, Recovery, or Credit Control, preferably in Automotive, Battery, NBFC, or FMCD industries. Candidates from Manufacturing, Automotive, Power Solutions, NBFC/BFSI, or FMCD sectors are preferred.

Objective 1: Maximize Overdue Recovery & Collection Efficiency

Key Results

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual recovery targets against total outstanding dues.
- Ensure ≥95% collection efficiency across assigned region/portfolio.
- Reduce overdue amounts beyond approved credit limit to zero critical accounts.

Objective 2: Reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) & Ageing

Key Results

- Maintain DSO within approved limits across dealers/distributors.
- Reduce 90+ days ageing bucket outstanding by defined % each quarter.




- Drive proactive follow-up to prevent fresh overdue accumulation.

Objective 3: Control Bad Debts & Write-offs

Key Results

- Keep bad debt/write-off ratio within budgeted % of sales.
- Identify high-risk accounts early and initiate corrective action.
- Coordinate with Sales & Credit teams to strengthen upfront credit assessment.

Objective 4: Ensure Legal & Documentation Compliance in Recovery

Key Results

- Ensure timely initiation and closure of legal recovery cases within defined TAT.
- Maintain complete, audit-ready documentation for all recovery/legal cases.
- Ensure zero deviations from company recovery policy and statutory norms.

Objective 5: Strengthen Dealer/Distributor Credit Management

Key Results

- Ensure 100% of dealers operate within approved credit limits.
- Conduct periodic credit risk reviews and recommend limit revisions.
- Build strong coordination with Sales team to balance growth and risk control.

Objective 6: Team Management & Reporting Excellence

Key Results

- Lead, train, and monitor performance of recovery officers/field executives.
- Ensure 100% adherence to recovery MIS, reporting, and CRM updates within timelines.
- Submit structured recovery, ageing, and legal status reports on time to management.
