We’re building a fast-growing social app and are looking for a skilled React Developer (2-4 years) to join our product team and work on a modern consumer social media platform. You will help build and enhance features such as feeds, profiles, posts, comments, messaging, notifications, search, media experiences, and other engagement-driven functionality. The role requires strong React fundamentals, attention to user experience, and the ability to build scalable, responsive, high-performance web applications.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain web applications using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build features such as social feeds, profiles, posts, comments, notifications, messaging, and search.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive and reusable React components.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based functionality.
- Manage application state using tools such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or React Query.
- Implement pagination, infinite scrolling, lazy loading, and efficient content rendering.
- Optimize frontend performance, API usage, page load times, and media handling.
- Implement real-time functionality using WebSockets / Socket.IO where required.
- Handle image/video uploads, previews, and media-based user experiences.
- Debug and resolve production issues and improve application stability.
- Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews and follow clean coding and frontend development best practices.
- Support application deployments and production releases.

Required (Must Have) Skills

- 2–4 years of professional React development experience.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of React.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with React Hooks,



functional components, and reusable component architecture.
- Experience with modern React build tools such as Vite.
- Experience with state management using Redux / Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, or React Query.
- Strong experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data.
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
- Experience implementing authentication and session/token management.
- Experience with pagination, filtering, search, and infinite scrolling.
- Good understanding of frontend performance optimization.
- Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred (Positive To Have) Skills

- Experience working on social media, messaging, community, content, or consumer internet applications.
- Experience building high-volume feeds or content-heavy applications.
- Experience with WebSockets / Socket.IO and real-time functionality.
- Experience developing chat or messaging interfaces.
- Experience with image/video uploads and media-heavy applications.
- Familiarity with React Query / TanStack Query.
- Experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with error monitoring tools such as Sentry.
- Experience with admin panels, dashboards, or role-based applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automated deployments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using Jira or similar tools.
