About the Role

Cointab is looking for a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual testing, SQL database validation, API testing, and Selenium automation using Java.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable testing web applications, identifying defects, validating backend data, and collaborating with developers to deliver reliable software.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on product requirements.
- Execute SQL queries to validate database records and investigate data mismatches.
- Test REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
- Identify, document, report, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.




- Participate in requirement discussions and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure adequate test coverage.

Required Skills

- 1-3 years of experience in QA, software testing, or a relevant testing role.
- Positive understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications.
- Practical knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Working knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and reporting tools.
