ABOUT THE COMPANY

Devel Innovation and Solution is an IT services and software development business specializing in web applications, digital platforms, custom software solutions, website development, and technology-driven services.

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to ensure the quality, functionality, reliability, and performance of our software products, web applications, and client projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing skills, a good understanding of software development processes, and basic knowledge of API and automation testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE & TESTING

- Perform manual testing of websites, web applications, and software products.
- Prepare, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
- Ensure applications meet functional requirements and quality standards.
- Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing before software releases.

1. WEB APPLICATION & PRODUCT TESTING

- Test user registration, login, authentication, and profile management functionalities.
- Validate application workflows, search features, filters, forms, and user interactions.
- Test subscription management, payment gateway integrations, and transaction workflows.
- Verify application functionality across different devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
- Identify usability issues, functional defects, and potential performance bottlenecks.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of new features before deployment.

1. WEBSITE & CLIENT PROJECT TESTING

- Test business websites, landing pages, CMS platforms, and custom-developed web applications.
- Verify responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility.
- Check navigation, buttons, forms, links, and other interactive elements.
- Validate UI consistency, content accuracy, and adherence to approved designs.




- Conduct basic website performance, accessibility, and technical SEO checks.
- Ensure client projects meet functional requirements and quality standards before delivery.
- Perform post-deployment testing and verify website updates.

1. BUG TRACKING & QUALITY CONTROL

- Identify, report, and track bugs using Jira, Trello, or similar tools.
- Prepare detailed bug reports with screenshots, reproduction steps, and severity levels.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to resolve technical and functional issues.
- Maintain testing documentation, test execution reports, and release checklists.
- Participate in quality reviews and support continuous improvement of testing processes.

1. AUTOMATION & API TESTING

- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Validate API requests, responses, data accuracy, and system integrations.
- Assist with automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities.
- Support the improvement of testing efficiency and overall software quality.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience testing websites and web-based applications.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and usability testing.
- Experience preparing test cases, test scenarios, and bug reports.
- Familiarity with defect-tracking and project-management tools.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser developer tools.
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser testing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with development teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.




- Experience with Postman and REST API testing.
- Basic understanding of automation testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience testing e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or subscription-based applications.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of website performance testing using Google Lighthouse or similar tools.
- Experience testing payment gateways and transaction workflows.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, BCA, BSc IT, or a related technical field.
