Key Responsibilities

Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of wires, nails, and finished products.

Monitor quality parameters throughout the nail manufacturing process.

Inspect nail length, diameter, head formation, point, straightness, surface condition, and dimensional accuracy.

Identify and analyse process defects, rejections, and non-conformities.

Coordinate with Production to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Handle customer complaints, NCRs, audits, and quality-related documentation.

Maintain quality records, inspection reports, Test Certificates, and calibration records.

Ensure compliance with applicable BIS / IS / ISO standards and customer specifications.

Conduct root cause analysis and continuous quality improvement.





Coordinate with third-party inspectors and customers during inspections.

Support internal and external audits and maintain relevant quality documentation.

Technical Knowledge

· Practical knowledge of nail manufacturing / steel wire processes.

· Knowledge of dimensional inspection and measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, and gauges.

· Understanding of tensile strength, hardness, elongation, and material testing.

· Ability to identify common nail manufacturing defects.

· Knowledge of RCA, CAPA, 5 Why, and quality control systems.

· Internal Auditor Certificate is mandatory.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a relevant technical field.

Work Experience requirements:

· 3–6 years of relevant experience in nail, steel wire, fastener, or similar manufacturing plants.

· Hands-on experience in plant-level Quality Control is mandatory.

· Experience in in-process inspection, final inspection, rejection analysis, NCRs, and corrective actions.

· Candidates with direct nail manufacturing experience will be strongly preferred.

Any specialized skills/ knowledge / abilities

· Strong practical knowledge of plant QC operations.

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to independently identify and resolve quality issues.

· Good coordination and communication skills.

· Solid attention to detail and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
