KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Backend (FastAPI / Python)

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using FastAPI and Uvicorn.

- Implement JWT-based authentication (python-jose) and OAuth2 flows using Authlib.

- Integrate with LDAP / Active Directory using ldap3 for enterprise SSO and user authentication.

- Design and manage SQLAlchemy ORM models, Pydantic schemas, and database migrations using Alembic.

- Process and ingest data from Excel and CSV sources using Pandas and openpyxl.

- Write secure, maintainable Python 3.10+ following established engineering best practices.

Database

- Design and manage PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and query optimization.

- Write complex SQL queries and maintain data integrity, referential constraints, and data-seeding scripts.

- Perform routine database maintenance including migrations, backups, cleanup, and data reconciliation.

- Work comfortably with psycopg2 and SQLAlchemy Core / ORM.

Security & Secrets Management

REQUIRED

- Integrate applications with enterprise Active Directory / LDAP servers for authentication.

- Manage and rotate secrets using HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, or AWS Secrets Manager.





- Inject secrets securely into containerized workloads at runtime using patterns such as Vault Agent, CSI driver, or workplace injection.

- Implement Azure Key Vault integration for application secrets, connection strings, and certificates.

- Manage TLS/SSL certificates using openssl and ca-certificates, including private keys and certificate trust chains.

- Apply security best practices including input validation, CORS controls, HTTPS enforcement, RBAC, and minimal container footprint.

- Understand corporate proxy configurations and enterprise PKI / certificate-authority chains.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5-6 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development.

- Required: Proven experience deploying and managing workloads on Microsoft Azure.

- Required: Experience integrating applications with secrets-management platforms such as HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST API design principles, and web security fundamentals.

- Proven ability to work independently, own end-to-end delivery, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
