WE ARE HIRING – PURCHASE MANAGER

Pillbox Pharmacy is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities, coordinate with suppliers, maintain inventory levels, and ensure the timely availability of pharmaceutical products and other required items.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities for the pharmacy.

* Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.

* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

* Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to avoid shortages and overstocking.

* Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and on time.

* Ensure the timely procurement of medicines, healthcare products, and other required items.

* Verify product quality, expiry dates, quantities, and invoices upon delivery.

* Coordinate with the accounts department for purchase bills, invoices, and payment processing.

* Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier details, and procurement reports.

* Ensure all purchase-related activities follow company policies and applicable pharmaceutical regulations.





* Prepare daily purchase reports and provide updates to management.

* Coordinate with internal departments to understand and fulfil their purchasing requirements.

Requirements

* Minimum 2 years of experience in purchase management or procurement.

* Experience in pharmacy, pharmaceutical distribution, or healthcare procurement will be an advantage.

* Robust negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.

* Good knowledge of inventory management and purchase documentation.

* Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.

* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management.

* Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.

* Willingness to work on a shift-based schedule.
