Loom Crafts is hiring an experienced Purchase Manager to independently manage procurement for its Furniture Division.
Responsibilities
- Plan material purchases with production and stores.
- Source and develop suppliers for furniture raw materials, components, hardware and consumables.
- Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and track purchase orders in Tally.
- Follow up on deliveries and resolve quality, quantity and invoice discrepancies with the relevant teams.
- Control purchase costs while maintaining required quality.
- Develop alternative suppliers for critical materials.
Requirements
- Preferably 5+ years of relevant purchasing experience, including furniture or closely related manufacturing.
- Knowledge of furniture materials and supplier markets.
- Hands-on experience with Tally and Excel.
- Robust negotiation, planning and supplier follow-up skills.
