- Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
- Develop detailed cost estimates for medium and large size projects, utilizing historical data, vendor quotes, and industry benchmarks
- Develop detailed cost estimates for proposals & projects at various stages
- Assist in preparation of project budgets and forecasts
- Review and analyze contractor bids and vendor proposals to ensure cost-effectiveness

- Cost Control & Monitoring:

- Establish and maintain Cost control system
- Monitor project expenditures and compare them to the approved budget
- Identify and investigate cost variances, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare regular cost reports (weekly, monthly) for project management and stakeholders, including Earned Value Analysis (EVA) reports
- Identify and drive cost optimizations

- Change Management:

- Develop and maintain cost dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform cost trend analysis and forecasting.
- Prepare cost-related presentations for project reviews.

- Contract Administration:

- Assist with contract negotiations and administration
- Review and approve contractor invoices
- Manage cost-related aspects of subcontracts

- Collaboration & Communication:

- Communicate cost information effectively to all stakeholders




- Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related updates
- Work closely with project managers, project controls, procurement, and engineering teams

- Best Practices & Standards:

- Contribute to the development and improvement of lesson learnt and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure schedules comply with company standards and industry best practices
- Prepare manuals, procedures and assist in the development & maintenance of cost databases and estimation tools
- Mentor and support junior engineers
