The Professor in the Department of Pedagogy of Biological Science will be responsible for providing academic leadership and direction in the field of Biological Science education. The candidate will be involved in teaching, research, and other academic activities and will also be expected to provide guidance to students and contribute to departmental and college initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A PhD degree in Biological Science Education or a related field
- Strong knowledge of biological science and pedagogy
- Extensive experience in teaching and research in Biological Science Education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A record of academic leadership and a commitment to supporting students and the community
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Biological Science Education
- Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum and course materials
- Conduct research in the field of Biological Science Education and publish findings in academic journals
- Mentor and guide junior faculty and students
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field
