Key Responsibilities

Product and Proposition

- Own the personal loan roadmap, proposition and customer experience across the full lifecycle: offer, application, KYC, e-mandate, disbursal, repayment and servicing.

- Improve offer-to-disbursal conversion by diagnosing funnel drop-offs and fixing them with evidence.

- Work with credit and risk teams on eligibility, offer construction and pricing, balancing conversion against portfolio quality.

- Benchmark against leading fintechs and know where we win and where we do not.

- Write sharp product requirements and make prioritisation calls that the POD understands.

Partners, Platform and Compliance

- Manage relationships and integrations with NBFCs and third-party providers such as credit bureaus, and KYC vendors.

- Ensure every journey complies with RBI digital lending requirements.

- Think in platforms: identify what is common across personal, gold and business loans, and work with engineering to build shared services once instead of repeatedly.

Growth

- Work with growth and marketing on acquisition, and with the wider Airtel Finance team on cross-sell.





- Own your section of the Borrow scorecard: leads, applications, approvals, disbursals, AUM and early portfolio quality indicators.

Required Skills and Experience

- 4-7 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in product management at a fintech.

- Has launched and scaled a digital lending product end to end, ideally unsecured personal loans or similar consumer credit.

- Strong understanding of the digital lending journey and its building blocks: bureau pulls, underwriting and policy rules, KYC, e-mandate, disbursal and collections touchpoints.

- Working knowledge of RBI digital lending guidelines and the NBFC regulatory environment.

- Strong data skills: fluent with funnels, cohorts, approval and conversion analysis and experimentation.

- Comfortable working with credit, risk and compliance teams, and able to design simple journeys within regulatory constraints.

- Transparent written and verbal communication, and comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
