Product Handling Engineer

1. Product Design and Development

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, marketing) to define product specifications.

- Develop initial design concepts and work on creating prototypes for new products.

- Ensure that product designs meet customer needs, technical requirements, and regulatory standards.

2. Feasibility and Cost Analysis

- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the practicality of new product ideas.

- Perform cost-benefit analysis to determine if the product design can be produced within budget and meets financial objectives.

- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to determine production cost structures.

3. Prototyping and Testing

- Oversee the creation of prototypes and manage the iterative testing process.

- Evaluate prototypes for functionality, durability, performance, and other relevant criteria.

- Gather feedback from internal teams and customers to refine the product design.

4. Material Selection and Sourcing

- Identify the appropriate materials and components for new products, ensuring quality, performance, and cost-effectiveness.

- Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and ensure timely delivery for prototyping and production.

5. Process Optimization

- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure productive product production.

- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure that products are scalable and that assembly lines are designed for efficient handling.

6. Quality Assurance





- Develop and implement quality control standards to ensure the product meets or exceeds industry standards.

- Work with the quality assurance team to perform tests and inspections at various stages of the product lifecycle.

7. Compliance and Regulations

- Ensure products comply with all necessary regulatory standards and industry certifications.

- Manage documentation and work with regulatory bodies as needed to ensure product compliance.

8. Product Launch and Scaling

- Work with the marketing and sales teams to ensure a smooth product launch, providing technical support during marketing campaigns.

- Assist with scaling the product for full-scale production, ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized for mass production.

9. Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution

- Troubleshoot any technical issues during the development or manufacturing process.

- Work with teams to identify solutions and prevent future product issues.

10. Continuous Improvement

- Monitor the performance of launched products and gather customer feedback for improvements.

- Lead efforts to enhance product features and processes in future iterations of the product.

11. Documentation and Reporting

- Maintain thorough records of all product development activities, including specifications, test results, and regulatory compliance.

- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding the status of product development projects.
