SCANDALous Foods (ADITOF)
Mumbai
Company Description Scandalous Foods, launched in 2023, provides a complete dessert solution for hotels, restaurants, caterers, and cloud kitchens seeking authentic Indian mithai. The company offers ready-to-serve, single-portion Indian sweets made with pure ingredients, designed for efficiency, visual appeal, and long-lasting freshness. Its frozen, preservative-free products carry a six-month shelf life, allowing professional kitchens to simplify operations while maintaining consistent quality and authentic flavors.
By partnering with Scandalous Foods, food service businesses can innovate their menus, scale dessert offerings, and deliver premium Indian sweets without adding complexity to their kitchen workflows. The brand focuses on convenience, reliability, and flavor integrity to power the next chapter of its partners’ sweet success.
A well-run kitchen starts with a well-run store. But an NPD procurement manager doesn’t just replenish stock—they keep looking for better ingredients, better packaging, and better possibilities.
We’re looking for a hands-on Store & Procurement Manager to ensure seamless procurement and disciplined store operations at our Nashik unit, working closely with our New Product Development (NPD), kitchen, production, and quality teams.
What you’ll own
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) so development and production run without interruptions.
- Actively scout new RM and PM options, suppliers, and alternatives that can improve product quality, functionality, availability, or cost.
- Think like an NPD procurement manager: understand development briefs, source samples, coordinate trials, and help take promising materials from experimentation to regular supply.
- Evaluate suppliers on quality, pricing, lead times, minimum order quantities, and reliability—not just the lowest quote.
- Maintain accurate physical stock and inventory records through regular checks and reconciliation.
- Ensure materials move from the store to the kitchen only against transfer orders.
- Ensure finished goods leaving Nashik are recorded and dispatched against transfer orders.
- Own material accountability across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Maintain proper storage, batch traceability, shelf-life tracking, and stock rotation.
- Reduce shortages, excess inventory, expiry, wastage, and unexplained stock differences.
- Coordinate with the quality team on incoming material checks and storage standards.
Who we’re looking for
- Ideally, a food technologist with hands-on store experience and exposure to quality oversight.
- Alternatively, someone with solid store and procurement experience in an institutional kitchen, food factory, or large QSR operation.
- Someone curious about ingredients and packaging, proactive with suppliers, and disciplined about inventory and documentation.
- An operator who can manage today’s requirements while scouting tomorrow’s options.
- 3-5 years experience
- knowledge of zoho books & inventory will be a super ++
- well versed with excel
- should love data, integrity and discipline
Location: Nashik unit. This is an on-site role, apply accordingly.
