Role Description As a Principal Software Engineer at PInterview, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of core platform services that support scalable and secure online interview experiences. You will architect back-end systems, review code, mentor engineers, and establish best practices for software quality, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and drive continuous improvement of the platform.

This is a full-time remote role, requiring proactive communication,



ownership of complex technical initiatives, and the ability to guide technical decisions across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-quality applications.
- Expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database-driven architectures.
- Advanced skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and designing maintainable, modular codebases.
- Experience leading engineering projects, mentoring peers, and influencing technical direction at a senior level.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring/observability tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in building edtech, video platforms, or real-time communication systems is a plus.
