Role & responsibilities

- Act as Principal Officer under SEBI (Merchant Bankers) Regulations
- Lead SEBI registration and ongoing compliance and reporting
- Lead and execute mandates: SME/Main Board IPOs, rights issues, open offers, buybacks, delistings, QIPs, MB valuations and fairness opinions
- Build processes, due diligence frameworks and documentation standards
- Work with our valuation, CA and BD teams to convert existing clients into MB mandates

Preferred candidate profile

- CA / CS / CFA / MBA (Finance) or another qualification SEBI recognises for this role
- At least 5 years in merchant banking or the securities market, preferably at a SEBI-registered Merchant Banker
- Hands-on experience with offer documents (DRHP/RHP/LOF), SME IPOs and SEBI/exchange processes
- Meets SEBI fit-and-proper criteria, clean regulatory record

Valuable to have: relevant NISM certifications; network with exchanges, RTAs, legal counsel and investors; SME IPO experience in Gujarat/Western India.
