? ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a skilled Power BI / Data Architect to support a major analytics modernization initiative. The client is migrating from an on-premises, SQL-heavy data environment to SAP Data Sphere and SAP Analytics Cloud, while Power BI remains the primary visualization platform.

This is a unique opportunity for professionals who combine robust back-end data engineering expertise with advanced BI development skills. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience across both areas, not just dashboard development.

? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Rebuild SQL-based data pipelines as source systems migrate to SAP Data Sphere, targeting substantial completion by the end of 2026.
- Reconnect and rebuild existing Power BI dashboards using the new Data Sphere data sources.
- Collaborate with SCE's analytics team on data architecture decisions during the SQL Server-to-Data Sphere transition.
- Support SAP Analytics Cloud integration alongside Power BI as the reporting layer evolves.

? REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

✅ 10+ years of experience in data engineering and/or BI development preferred. Strong candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate depth in both areas.





✅ Solid hands-on SQL Server experience — Mandatory.

✅ Azure data services experience — Mandatory.

✅ Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard development — Mandatory.

✅ Strong back-end data engineering expertise beyond report and dashboard building.

? GOOD TO HAVE:

⭐ SAP Data Sphere and/or SAP Analytics Cloud experience.

⭐ SAP BTP exposure — A premium, highest-rate skill on this account. Candidates with genuine SAP BTP expertise should be flagged immediately.

⭐ Utilities, energy, or other regulated enterprise industry experience.

? IMPORTANT SCREENING GUIDELINES
