Role Description This full time Power BI Architect role is based in Noida in a hybrid work model, combining on-site collaboration with flexibility for some work from home. The Power BI Architect will design and implement end-to-end business intelligence solutions, including data models, dashboards, and reports that support strategic and operational decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with stakeholders to understand requirements, translating business needs into scalable data models, optimizing data flows, and ensuring performance and reliability of Power BI solutions.
The role will involve establishing Power BI governance and best practices, integrating data from multiple sources, and collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business teams.
The Power BI Architect will also mentor junior team members, contribute to technical documentation, and stay current with Microsoft BI and analytics capabilities to enhance the overall analytics landscape.
Qualifications
- Strong Power BI expertise, including data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), DAX, Power Query, and building interactive dashboards and reports.
- Solid background in data warehousing and ETL concepts, with hands-on experience using SQL and integrating data from relational databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
- Experience in BI architecture and solution design, including governance, security (Row-Level Security), workspace management, and performance optimization.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft data stack (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Analysis Services) or comparable cloud data platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on data quality and reliability.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Azure) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a BI Architect or Senior BI Developer role, ideally within consulting, analytics, or digital transformation environments.
