Role Description The PLC Programmer & Automation Engineer will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design, programming, testing, and commissioning of automation solutions for various industrial applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and troubleshooting PLC logic, configuring and integrating control systems, and collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to ensure seamless system operation. The role involves preparing technical documentation, supporting installation and commissioning activities at customer locations, and providing maintenance and optimization support for existing automation systems.

The engineer will participate in project planning,



interface with clients to understand technical requirements, and help implement robust, safe, and efficient automation solutions that meet project specifications and timelines.

Qualifications

This is an entry level job open to freshers with good academic record and with an attitude to learn. Prior experience could be a plus bit not a criteria.

Desired skill sets & capabilities:-

- PLC programming and industrial automation
- HMI/SCADA configuration, field instrumentation integration, and troubleshooting of control panels.
- Core electrical and electronics skills related to drives, motors, sensors, safety circuits, and industrial communication protocols.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, such as electrical schematics, P&IDs;, and layout diagrams.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose system issues and implement corrective actions in industrial environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and interact with clients in a professional manner.
- A relevant technical qualification, such as a degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Willingness to work on-site at customer facilities, adapt to different industrial settings, and travel for project execution when required.
- Familiarity with safety standards, basic project documentation practices, and a commitment to continuous learning in automation technologies.
