Job Summary

We are looking for a Planning Engineer with experience in fabrication and manufacturing processes to manage production planning, scheduling, material availability, and timely execution of production activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, stores, quality, and dispatch teams.
- Monitor fabrication activities, including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials, tools, and resources.
- Track production progress, WIP, and delivery schedules.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to meet targets.
- Maintain production planning reports, schedules, and MIS.




- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimum resource utilisation.

Required Skills
- 2–7 years of experience in production planning or PPC, preferably in fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and engineering drawings.
- Experience in production scheduling, material planning, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP/SAP/MRP systems is an advantage.
- Valuable coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Education Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with hands-on experience in fabrication production planning, shop-floor coordination, and delivery schedule management are preferred.
