Patent Research Analyst Trainee – Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)/ Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Employment Type-Full-time opportunity with a structured 6-month training period

Eligibility-B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Experience-Freshers and candidates with 0–6 months of experience

Training Stipend-₹17,000 per month during the 6-month training period

Post-Training Compensation-Up to ₹4.0 LPA, based on performance and successful completion of training

Joining Requirement-Candidates available to join immediately are preferred

Service Agreement-A 1.5-year service agreement will apply from the date of joining

Role Overview The Patent Research Analyst Trainee will support intellectual property research projects by reviewing technical information, searching patent and non-patent literature, analyzing inventions, and preparing structured research reports. The role is suited to candidates with strong analytical skills, technical curiosity, attention to detail, and an interest in patent research.

Key Responsibilities

 Conduct patent searches for Patentability, Invalidity/Invalidation, Freedom-to-Operate (FTO), State-of-the-

Art, Patent Landscape, and Infringement projects.

 Research patent and non-patent literature using relevant international patent databases and other technical information sources.

 Review and interpret inventions, patent specifications, claims, drawings, and technical disclosures.

 Identify relevant prior art and compare technical features across inventions and existing technologies.

 Prepare claim charts, patent landscapes, patent portfolios, and technology categorization documents.

 Prepare clear, accurate research reports,



spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

 Coordinate with inventors, clients, and internal teams to understand technical requirements and project objectives.

 Deliver accurate, high-quality research within defined project timelines and quality standards.

Eligibility and Required Skills

 B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE).

 Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and a questioning mindset.

 Excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical information.

 Positive written and verbal communication skills.

 Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to prepare professional reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.

 Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A self-motivated, reliable, responsible, and willing-to-learn attitude.

Training and Employment Terms

 This is a full-time opportunity that begins with a 6-month training period.

 A stipend of ₹17,000 per month will be provided during training.

 Upon successful completion of training, compensation may be offered up to ₹4.0 LPA, depending on individual performance and applicable company criteria.

 Immediate joiners will be given preference.

 Selected candidates will be required to sign a 1.5-year service agreement, effective from their date of joining.
