A hospital in Narasaraopet is seeking a qualified OT Assistant with training in laparoscopy procedures. The selected candidate will support the operating theatre team in preparing surgical equipment, maintaining a sterile setting, and assisting healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.

Qualifications

- Relevant qualification or training in Operation Theatre Technology, OT Assistance, or an equivalent recognized course.

- Training in laparoscopy procedures is required.

- Previous experience in an operation theatre or surgical setting is preferred.

- Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization procedures, and infection-control practices.

- Good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

- Ability to follow hospital protocols and patient-safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Prepare the operation theatre before scheduled surgical procedures.

- Arrange and check surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies required for laparoscopic procedures.

- Assist surgeons, anaesthesiologists,



and nursing staff during procedures within the scope of training and authorization.

- Support the preparation, handling, and maintenance of laparoscopic instruments and equipment.

- Follow sterilization, disinfection, and infection-control protocols.

- Ensure the availability of required surgical supplies and report equipment issues promptly.

- Maintain operation theatre cleanliness and readiness between procedures.

- Assist with patient preparation and transfer according to hospital protocols.

- Maintain accurate records of equipment, supplies, and OT activities as required.

- Follow hospital policies, workplace safety procedures, and patient-confidentiality standards.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
