Job Title: Oracle Developer III

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle database applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, database development, performance tuning, and stored procedures, along with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Oracle database applications using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Create and optimize stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.
- Write complex SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
- Design and maintain database tables, indexes, constraints, and schemas.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical database solutions.
- Troubleshoot database issues and resolve performance and production problems.
- Perform data migration, transformation, and integration activities.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes where required.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, QA teams, and DBAs.
- Prepare technical documentation and follow coding and database development standards.
- Monitor application/database performance and recommend improvements.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database.
- Excellent on SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.

- Knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning.
- Understanding of database design, normalization,



and data modeling.
- Experience with Oracle SQL Developer or similar tools.
- Experience in Front-end work like visual studio and Dot net, C sharp, Razor pages, Java script , HTML, CSS.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with database security and access controls.
- Positive communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle APEX, or Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica.
- Familiarity with cloud databases such as Oracle Cloud/OCI.
- Exposure to Java, REST APIs, or other application technologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education &

Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Typically, 7 – 10+ years of experience in Oracle database development, depending on the seniority of the position.
