Position: Operations Manager – Marine Dredging

Experience

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in marine operations, with substantial hands-on experience in the marine dredging industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise day-to-day marine dredging operations across project sites.

Plan and execute dredging activities in accordance with project schedules, contractual requirements, and client specifications.

Coordinate the deployment and utilization of dredgers, workboats, barges, tugs, and other marine equipment.

Monitor project progress, productivity, fuel consumption, equipment performance, and operational costs.

Liaise with clients, port authorities, project managers, vessel masters, and technical teams.

Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Monitor project budgets, operational expenses, manpower requirements, and resource allocation.

Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly operational reports.

Support tendering, project mobilization, demobilization, and execution planning.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.

Relevant marine operations and dredging experience is essential.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of marine dredging operations, dredging equipment, and vessel coordination.

Experience in managing multiple marine projects and site teams.

Knowledge of port operations, hydrographic surveys, and dredging productivity monitoring.

Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to coordinate with clients, contractors, vessel crews, and internal departments.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in dredging companies, port development projects, inland waterways, capital dredging, maintenance dredging, or marine infrastructure projects will be preferred.
